'Uh, that can't be good!'

Before landing a "cushy" job upon the bridge, I suspect M'Ress had to get her paws dirty, learning the systems inside and out. So I decided to present a likely scene from earlier in her career and stand her by that iconic set piece from the original series, the 'Jefferies' Tube, named for the show's senior set and spaceship designer Matt Jefferies.

Looks like she's spotted a reading upon her 'Feinberger' that has concerned her. (Most handheld props on the series were collectively called that in acknowledgement of the prop master, Irving Feinberg.)
